We live in a throw away society, replacing our electronic gadgets, not because they are broken, but
because they are not the most up to date technology, no matter at what expense. Jane uses recycled
electronic components that have been thrown away with the rubbish which she finds in the streets,
giving the once dead or unwanted, a new life once again.
Jane Webb has shown artwork at the Victoria & Albert Museum and The London Museum, amongst other places in the UK. Her work has been featured in international press, TV and radio, and she completed several commissions for a range of clients. Jane also runs an organisation called Illumini which creates large scale free events in subterranean spaces, regularly attracting 7,000-9,000 visitors.
